About the contest
We invite you to take part in the ninth season of the Festival of Young Talents “The Magic Power of the Blue Stream — MOSGAZ Lights the Stars”. Students of general educational and music municipal and private schools, choral studios, circles, lyceums, students of secondary specialized educational institutions and individuals aged 8 to 18 from the regions of the Russian Federation, the CIS and foreign countries.
Targets and goals of the contest
- Preservation and development of the best traditions of national culture, stimulation of interest in world and national culture and art;
- Creating strong contacts between the creative schools of the participating countries;
- Identification and support of gifted children in the field of art education, introducing the general public to a rich heritage in the field of culture and art;
- Creation of conditions for creative self-realization of children, support of creative directions in work with gifted children;
- Attracting public attention to children’s and youthful creativity; Conducting personal exhibitions, concerts of winners of the competition in the Russian Federation and abroad;
- Promotion of the activities of JSC “MOSGAZ”.

TV presenter. An active member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, philologist (MGPI named after N.K. Krupskaya), conductor (music school named after Ippolitov-Ivanov). She has been working on television for more than 17 years as an author, editor and host of the “Cultural Life Events” programs, the TV magazine “On the Female Half”, and the television program “Stars of the Russian World”. Marina Medvedeva

Olga Pirags
Latvian pop singer. She graduated from the music school named after P. Yuryan, then the musical and pedagogical faculty of the Daugavpils Pedagogical Institute (1977). In 1977-1979 the soloist of the “Inversion” ensemble, then, until 1983, the soloist of the pop music orchestra, conducted by Raymond Pauls, Alnis Zakis and Gunar Rosenberg.
