About the contest
We invite you to take part in the ninth season of the Festival of Young Talents “The Magic Power of the Blue Stream — MOSGAZ Lights the Stars”. Students of general education, art schools, studios, circles, colleges, lyceums, institutions of additional education, students of secondary specialized educational institutions and individuals aged 7 to 18 from regions of the Russian Federation, countries can participate in the children’s art contest “The Magic Power of the Blue Stream”. CIS and foreign countries.
Targets and goals of the competition
- Preservation and development of the best traditions of national culture, stimulation of interest in world and national culture and art;
- Creating strong contacts between the creative schools of the participating countries;
- Identification and support of gifted children in the field of art education, introducing the general public to a rich heritage in the field of culture and art;
- Creation of conditions for creative self-realization of children, support of creative directions in work with gifted children;
- Attracting public attention to children’s and youthful creativity;
- Conducting personal exhibitions, concerts of winners of the competition in the Russian Federation and abroad;
- Promotion of the activities of JSC “MOSGAZ”.

Russian cartoonist, comedian. Works in the field of book illustration, copyright books, animation, interior design. Chief artist of the magazine “Magazine”. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Designers of Russia. Academician of the Academy of Graphic Design. Honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, restaurateur, founder of the restaurant-club “Petrovich”, businessman.
Dmitry Petrov
Graduated from Moscow State Art Theater named after V. I. Surikova, creative workshops of the Academy of Arts, member of the Union of Artists, Ministry of Agriculture, silver medal of the Academy of Arts, Union of Artists, gold medal of the Union of Artists, laureate of the All-Russian Youth Exhibition, Krymov medal, grand prix at MDN, UNESCO medal, teacher of VGIK, Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I.Surikov.
Ilya Ibryaev
The contemporary artist. One of the most famous watercolorists in Russia, according to whom the world has the impression of watercolor movement in our country.
Graduated from art school (painting department) in Cheboksary.
Later he graduated from the Moscow MVHPU (formerly Stroganov), ceramics department. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Member of the International Federation of Watercolorists. Representative of IWS (International Watercolor Society) in Russia. Winner of a number of Russian and international biennials and exhibitions. Works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
Elmira Petrova
Graduated from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, creative workshops of the Academy of Arts, member of the Union of Artists, Ministry of Agriculture, Silver Medal of the Academy of Arts, Union of Artists, gold medal of the Union of Artists, Laureate of the All-Russian Youth Exhibition, Krymov medal, grand prix at MDN, UNESCO medal..
Mikhail Soloviev
He graduated from the Ivanovo Art College, the Textile Academy and the higher theater courses of APRICT in Moscow.
Since 2011, lives in Montreal, Canada.
He teaches at the prestigious Montreal art school SynStudio, where he teaches 6 copyright courses in classical art.
His works are in museums and private collections in Germany, France, Australia, Poland, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and the USA. 16 personal exhibitions and more than 70 group exhibitions in different countries of the world.
In recent years, Michael has represented Canada at leading international festivals in Hong Kong, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Costa Rica, Peru, India, Slovenia, Mexico and Hungary, where he received many awards.
Elena Kruglova
Graduated from V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute.
Member of the Union “New Wanderers in Moscow”, a member of the Union of the International Federation of Watercolorists.
Member of several international watercolors Biennale in Italy, Pakistan, Slovenia, Costa Rica, Prague, Canada, Greece, Budapest, Prague, Peru, Vietnam, Spain, Vietnam, India, Thailand, etc.
Member of several competitions and exhibitions in the Moscow State (“Old Moscow”, “Leningrad Metronome”, “Koktebel / Kandahar”, “Moscow Picturesque”).
Director General of ANO Creative Association “World of Modern Watercolor”.
Awards — second place in the XV national watercolor contest “Villa de Caudete” in Spain, 2018.
